Dr. Fitz saved my life and saved me from a second surgery that would have likely took my life. I was at one hospital that was going to do emergency surgery on me. I refused and had myself transferred to the hospital Dr. was at. He saved me from that surgery. He's very kind and professional. I wouldn't let anyone else perform my surgery but him.

DR. Fitzgibbins repaired and corrected my previous inguinal Hernia surgery that had failed and created major problems for a prior surgeon. An implanted mesh from that previous surgery had invaded other tissue and became a major problem. Dr. Fitzgibbins corrected and repaired my Hernia. I am doing very well. Dr. Fitzgibbins is probably the best in the country and corrected a major problem for me. I am very grateful for him taking excellent care of me.

Dr. Fitzgibons did 2 high risk abdominal surgeries on my mother. Where he fails as a physician is his lack of overseeing the whole person while they are under his care. He ignored all of my mom's other health issues and we rushed her to unmc just before her heart and kidney failed due to sepsis. He and his team did not monitor her appropriately and he had zero bedside manner.
