Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar

The food is great. Gluten Free options that are pretty hard to find. Fish and chips, schrimp, ask great. The service however, yeesh. We sat at the bar. I'm pretty sure the guy waiting on is was so stoned he was mumbling and taking in 1/2 sentences. Dietary restrictions: Several gluten free options.

We had fried calamari -awesome calamari, tasted fresh, I had to ask if it was air fried because I could not taste the cooking oil on it, it is fried in oil. - we ordered the Minnesota style walleye and the fried Haddock. Everything we ordered was some form of fried, and it awesome. No dripping oil, no strong fishy taste, just beautiful, fresh, and filling. The portions are insane for the price. If I had not walked in with an empty stomach I would have needed a to go box. The server was nice and friendly, helped us with quick action. If I had to choose one negative aspect of the meal, the most I could say is it "felt" like it took a little longer to get our entres, maybe 2-4 minutes. And when I saw the food I knew it must have been due to using fresh ingredients. Everything looked made from scratch, and tasted just as good. If you want fish for dinner, COME HERE!
