I had an awesome experience with this small growing company tho I was skeptical at first and we had some struggles but this young man showed he works best when pressure is high he amazed me by how he problem solved and even under not ideal conditions was always respectful and kind and I will be hiring once again matter of fact I will only be using him in any future jobs. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I dont even know where to begin. The entire experience with this project/Brandon is as a disaster. Our project began at the end of February 2023 and after 5 weeks our 3-4 day job was no where near complete. Brandon showed up exactly 8 days out of those 5 weeks and never stayed longer than 3-4 hours per day. He had countless excuses as to why he was unable to work or he would just not communicate for days on end. At one point it was over a week with no communication (ignored all calls and texts). When we would bring up issues with the structure/appearance of the wall he would try to talk his way out of it or just outright ignore them. You can clearly see the wall was never level and there were large gaps. We later learned (per the new contractor we hired to replace the mess Brandon made) he had glued the caps on with roofing tar. We were also advised the blocks we thought were from Watkins (as told by Brandon at the initial meeting) were actually from Menards. Interesting, Im fairly certain we paid Watkins prices! Our final breaking point was when he didnt show for the third day to pour the concrete (after asking for more money!!). He did not complete the job, although he did get paid half of what he was charging (that was paid as a deposit). Per the numerous reputable contractors we had come out to bid on fixing this mess, the wall was not structurally sound and could have seriously injured someone. Brandon did terrible work, went MIA for weeks and then skipped out with $3,500 leaving a giant mess. Learn from our mistake! Dont fall for his sob stories or experience doing these jobs. You will be left with a very expensive life lesson! UPDATE: I have attached a copy of the weather report for the moths of February and March as well as the days corresponding to when Brandon showed up to work. Again out of 5 weeks he worked 8 days. We were more than understanding when it came to cold/snowy days but as you can see over the 5 weeks there were more than enough days to complete what he said would be a 3-4 day project. From the very start of the project Brandon was aware he was working with me and my boyfriend, all decisions were made by both of us but that doesnt suite Brandons narrative of how things worked out. He will do anything to make him a victim. This is no one you should waste your time doing business with.
