After looking at buying a house on and off for around 5 years, I decided 2023 was the year I would get serious and really try to find a home. I was a first-time homebuyer, and the process can be SUPER overwhelming. A friend of mine recommended Sylvester after having worked with him several times. I don't think I will have enough space to adequately detail just how fantastic Sylvester Armstead truly is. At our first meeting he spent time getting to know me and the things I was looking for in a home. Then we hit the ground running going to see houses. Sylvester has the patience of a saint. I don't have a count of how many houses he took me to see from February 2023-July 2023, but it was a lot. He never once made me feel pressured to put in an offer on a house I was clearly waffling on. He would say "we'll find it." And we did. I found a house in the neighborhood I was in love with, and the house is fantastic. Stressful doesn't describe the process of putting in offers, having an offer accepted, and all the things in between. But because of Sylvester's knowledge, expertise, and network of trustworthy contacts, getting the inspection, etc. was SO much less stressful. He sent me a check list and walked me through every single step, answering my 10 million questions along the way. After closing on my house, I started running into friends that had also worked with Sylvester, and they had the same wonderful experience working with him. He is truly a gem and went WAY above and beyond during my home search. 1000% would recommend him to anyone and everyone looking to buy or sell a home. Sylvester Armstead is excellent. He is extremely kind and also has incredible knowledge of Omaha. And he is great at his job, from reading our initial conflicting information about what we were looking for to finding our ideal home. He helped us negotiate every complication along the way. He is delightful and low pressure and is also pleased to share his deep expertise. We thoroughly appreciated him and would enthusiastically turn to him again. He's the best!
