CHI Health Quick Care - 108th & Fort

Absolutely would not recommend, huge waste of time. Brought someone in Monday Dec 27 to be seen for an urgent medical need but not emergency room worthy. Arrived half an hour before the clinic is scheduled to close, waited that entire time with no one to talk to and a clipboard to sign up on. There was one person ahead of us. Nurse finally came out at 7:25 and said she would see the other person and not us. I understand we arrived late but health care practitioners should know that people can't schedule a medical issue. At the very least someone could have notice posted that if you arrive in time, but not early enough for the practitioners preference, you won't be seen. We could have spent this time finding another clinic rather than having to be turned away and then arriving at another clinic late. Didn't even get a "sorry" from the staff, just "you can go to the other place that closes at 8." I would give this place negative or zero stars if I could. I guess the core values of CHI, one of which being "compassion", do not apply to this clinic.

Came here at 12.50 pm om Monday. No one here. Said at lunch. So I ran errand. Came back at 1.55 pm. Again no one here. Now said be back at 2.30 pm. So very frustrating when I live out of town. When I originally got there no sign of anyone!!! Door closed. CHI needs a better process. Now came back at 2.30, however no patients waiting but me. I am told I have to wait because she has to call those on the list. One at a time and then wait for that person to come in. Then call next and then wait for that person to come on. Now this is just beyond rediculous and extremely inefficient. Seriously. Who is making this lady do this. She said she is following protocol!!! Someone should be fired for writing these procedures. If you can help it, don't use CHI Health!

108th - Fort Nurse practitioner here is rude and curt. Bad bedside manner, not remotely warm and seems to not understand it’s patients who pay her wages. It’s not my first encounter with her. (Last time, she misdiagnosed me and I ended up on steroids and heavier antibiotics for bronchial issues. She said it was viral.) If my son had not needed to quickly been seen for a small wound, I wouldn’t have come back here. Wont again even if I have to find out of network quick care for any of our sons.

The Nurse Practitioner was amazing! She made me feel relaxed and important. She would have spent any time with me that I needed and answered any questions. Very thorough and sweet!! Highly recommended!
