First time at this hotel. It's a lovely property located in the Old Market area. My room was quite large and clean. The view from the room of the Old Market looking down to the river was also quite nice. A wonderful visit, thank you!

Ive stayed at many Hyatts all over the country and have had excellent experiences. Some, second to none. With that being said I would not recommend this hotel. Hyatt has an outstanding value at many other locations Ive stayed at. The rates do not reflect the quality at this location. Upon check in there was an additional $25 parking fee to use the garage. That fee could have just been attached to the room. Its better presentation for the price gouging of a room almost double the cost of other hotels in the area. I was unable to get digital key to work The service at the location is lack luster. I ordered food from the The Placery the resident grill. I ordered a cheese pizza for my kids that I did not even want to feed to the trash can. I ordered this about 8:30 pm and it was actually the front desk clerk that went to the back to make the pizza. I was actually asked by the clerk to keep an eye on the counter for them as they went to the kitchen to make the pizza. The lobby full of people sitting and eating outside food should have been a good sign for me in hindsight. Breakfast was fresh, not as many options as other typical hotel breakfasts, but the family liked it. However we ate in the room as there was no open seating. The seating arrangement is not very practical. The room was what I expected for the price minus the bathtub with peeling paint and the loose bathroom mirror. The shower head had so much build up only half of the water jets worked. The glass door is loud and frankly just a hazard. The location is good, and parking is convenient, just well over priced. It is unlikely I would stay here again. I would recommend to look elsewhere in the area as there is no shortage in competition of 3-4 star hotels, chain or one of a kind in the surrounding area.
