    Drove all the way here after seeing their hours say theyre open to find the doors locked and lights off. I was looking forward to using my coupons. This is why physical stores arent making it successfully

    I will never return to a Children's Place Store again! The manager on duty, Doria, wrang up my item. Instead of using the credit card reader on the checkout she hands me a separate credit card reader but it went down while I was signing and could not give me a receipt. I then ask well can I return it without a receipt and she says no. And I asked if there was any other way they could produce a receipt. She said yes I still have the transaction up so I can charge you again and then print the receipt!! I said if she has the transaction up why can't she return it, to which she responds, because you do not have a receipt! She offers to call her manager who gave the same response. So she said she could call tech support but that would take a VERY LONG TIME. I said fine I will wait because I am not going to leave with a product I cannot return. In the mean time I called the corporate office which upset her very much. The best they can give me is that she is on the phone with tech support. So tech support than says they can void the transaction which she does and then tells me I will have my money back in 3-5 business days! While talking to tech support they obviously made a comment about me because she said in a sarcastic tone "I know" and rolled her eyes. I said that was terrible customer service and she could have just given me a return instead. I said I was planning on giving a bad review of her store and she yells go right ahead you have my name, as I am walking out of the store she is yelling.
