    At OCI Services we had our main Fiber Switch go out today and with one phone call we had two of the Cox Business repair techs, Eric and Bill, drive all the way across town in record time to get us back up and running. Not only did they do that but before getting to us with that equipment, the techs in the center where the hardware was located setup the failed hardware replacement for our business, so all Eric had to do was swap out the equipment. Excellent work and very smooth. Thanks for all that you do to keep us up and running in record time.

    Worst customer service experience from a cable/internet provider ever. Cox technicians came to our house unannounced to bury our fiber optic line. This is an issue because my wife works from home and suddenly loses internet connectivity and then sees two strange men in the backyard. These technicians proceed to break the fiber optic line and tell my wife this. They assured her that they would fix it, but then left unannounced without fixing the problem. I've been made to wait three days by Cox customer service before a technician can come out. My wife missed almost a full day of work and will miss almost another full day before it's fixed. I will be filing complaints with the state. Cox doesn't care about their customers, they only care about making a buck.

    Terrible customer service! Offers rebates to "perfect/preferred long time customers" but then never applies them to your account. Their Chat service is just as bad as their phone customer service. Takes 50+ minutes to NOT get a response to your questions and issues go unresolved.

    I just suffered the unremarkable occasion of trying to resolve a loss of service at my home. After spending more than an hour going back and forth, they offered me $1.67. That is the equivalent of one day of my service plan. After trying to communicate to them that was an unacceptable resolution, they checked the computer again and confirmed that in spite of this being the third unexpected maintenance outage in six months , that was all my time was worth. They then ask me what they could have done to more satisfactorily resolve my complaint. The first was my response. Treat your customers like people and not statistics, have a high bar for compensation for lost service. My lost time is more than just one day out of a billing cycle, it's five clients whose expected interaction with me was abruptly interrupted without notice, it is the lost reputation I suffer, when I explain this to them tomorrow. it is the service my family pays for expected access to, and has been without access to for most the morning, it is their disappointment with other devices and services which depend on reliable service from Cox. Cox leadership would not tolerate a loss of service like this at their corporate offices, and they would be willing to bear the burden of extraordinary labor and service charges to restore it as soon as humanly possible. If they continued to experience this type of expensive outage, I think they would value it's restoration to have a value of more than $1.67. I would expect to be treated like your corporate executives. I would expect equivalent service.
