        Great place if you like trains the view is great from the tower the 7 floor is open in a windy day could be annoying if you wearing a hat the 8 floor is enclosed pretty quiet and there a gentleman that would answer all your questions

        What an interesting surprise! We enjoyed seeing the largest railroad yard, learning about how it works, and meeting the docent, Ben, who is retired from the RR, but patiently answered our questions. Thank you, Ben! It's fascinating how much logistics go into that mode of transportation from the past and even still in the present. We also learned about the North Platte Canteen and the Orphan Trains...you just never know what you'll learn!
