Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott North Platte

Rooms are clean. Staff friendly. Location off highway a plus. Breakfast awful. Eggs: omlet (not real eggs, made of egg products) were dry and barely warm, dirty waffle station, no tea available and dirty coffee station with cheap coffee to choose from and Cheapest plastic utensils and horrific styrofoam plates which should be PROHIBITED at once!!!! Its a health hazard especially when eating warmer dishes such as waffles and bacon!!! Styrofoam melts and You eat toxins together with your food. Shame on Corporation who allows such a poor quality servings. European hotels prohibited plastic and styrofoam because of Heath hazard they clearly are causing. When you ask about staff and they are nice at the desk - its what should be expected but when you come after long driving and all you need is tea and there is none- its where STAFF usefulness counts. There was no tea available so No for me. Staff was not trying to accommodate my needs. Food & drinks: Quality of food is poor. As above (read my review). Cheapest possible utensils breaking on hot bacon which melted styrofoam made plate causing health hazard!!!! No tea available and cheap coffee ??? Not cool

Due to weather I booked a room here. Was charged pet fee for service dog. Breakfast items were out or almost gone when I checked out at 8am. Wish I would have booked the Hyatt for the $200 7 hours I spent here.

Clean and Beautiful rooms. Highly recommend if that is what you're looking for. Also conveniently close to food and freeway.

Service was fantastic. They were Johnny on the spot and friendly. They answered my questions about the area and pointed me in the right direction. Rooms were kept well. The drawback is there isnt enough outlets by the bed. I needed two outlets. The lamp was plugged into one. The solution was to unplug the lamp, use the lamp on the other side of the bed for light, and plug my devices into the one outlet. The hotel shows its age with the minimal number of outlets and the bathtub/shower. Ive gotten quite spoiled with many places with a walk in shower. Overall, its a good place to stay.
