Definitely miss the ole hamster wheel which really made this park unique but I understand why it was taken out. It's still a fun park with plenty to do and the large school grounds covered with beautiful trees is nice to walk through on hot days.

Can't say enough good things about this school! They are wonderful! The orchestrate so many fun activates for the kiddos to participate in and learn from! My personal favorite is the Life Skills prom. NCECBVI invites the surrounding town's Life Skills classes to attend prom and stay the night. Upon arrival to the school they escort you to the rooms that they have available for the students and sponsors. Once settled, high school and college aged kids help the students get ready. (clothes, hair, make up, the whole nine yards) Next they go to a social gathering where they talk about manners, etiquette, etc. before dinner. Everyone eats together in the cafeteria before heading down for limo rides and the dance! The kids have such a wonderful time and it's so heart warming to see! Not mention, the adults get to cut loose as well. I applaud this school for all of the amazing things they do. Keep up the good work, NCECBVI!!
