We appreciate our school and staff! Our hero wakes up each day ready to go to school. He has learned a mindset now knowing that failure is not the end, but a place to retry, center, and begin again with different views.

Our girls have grown so much in the short time they have been at Acton. They are finding themselves and becoming leaders in the classroom. The independent learning teaches our girls responsibility and to take ownership of their education. It is a community learning environment that not only encourages the kids to be involved in class and the community but also gets parents involved to help their kids progress with their education and developmental growth. I highly recommend Acton.

Our girls were doing well within the public education system however there is no comparison to the growth weve seen after starting Acton. Zach and the Lincoln Acton team do a fantastic job of communicating and creating a learner driven environment, that cultivates important life skills, in a fun and meaningful way! This has positively impacted, not only our kiddos, but our entire family! Cant recommend enough!

We transitioned our 3 girls ages 8 & 10 from public school to Acton 9/2021. This has been, so far, an amazing decision. Our children go to school with other heros with like minded parents. We are stepping out of our comfort zone, into the challenge zone and have seen amazing growth, emotionally and academically. All 3 girls are able to move through at their own pace without a dictatorship. They jump out of the car happy every day and get back in happy at the end of the day. We have daily discussions about problem solving and as parents are much more involved and aware of what they are leaning and how. Acton uses a Hybrid Montessori approach that is literally customized to each learner! They use app based programs both at home and at school for core skills like reading and math. Socratic discussions 3x per day led by the guides and heros. Acton believes that each child is a hero and has unique qualities to change the world. The kids police each other which is tough but helps kids learn how to take the tough path of holding each other accountable. They have plenty of social/recess time which is huge for us because kids need to move! Freedom is encouraged. Not having to ask to get up and get a drink or go to the bathroom is liberating because that is how real life is. The heros learn to use their resources, I.e. friends, books, etc to find answers independently without it being spoon fed, therefore they retain and learn more. Home life has changed a lot as they are much more self motivated to do what needs to be done while meeting deadlines. We love it! The girls are much more productive and becoming independent learners with natural consequences similar to home. Thank you Acton!
