Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lincoln Airport, an IHG Hotel

The bad first.. this is a typical hotel. Bring earplugs, you will hear other people walking down the hall, the clicking locks of the big, heavy secure doors, traffic outside, etc. It is located around industrial buildings. Not the prettiest part of Lincoln. Now the reason for 5 stars...all the above is beyond the hotel's control. The property is well kept, the parking lot is bright and secure. The free hot breakfast includes pancakes, biscuits, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc. My room was spotless, the bed was ridiculously comfy, slept better here than at home. I've noticed many hotels just have basic cable, a few channels. this one has nice current TVs with many channels & modern desk setup, important for those traveling and working. Up to date rooms, decor, paint, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, furniture. Very much a modern studio apt feel. This was my second stay here and the #1 reason I returned this time was because of how the front desk treated me, especially Shaneeka. She works in the AM and just has the sweestest disposition. All of the front desk employees I've interacted with were lovely people. Very warm and welcoming. Enough to warrant a review. Next time I am passing through, this will be my go to hotel.

I stayed at the Holiday inn Express and the staff was very pleasant, they really helped make my stay there top notch. The breakfast gal was very nice! Heather checked me in because I got there early and I was tired from traveling and she was able to accommodate getting me checked in early! Thank you!! Rooms: The rooms were very clean which was nice!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was woken up by a couple above me at 2:30am who were drunk and fighting. After an hour, I called the front desk. I asked to speak to the manger in the morning and was told to write an email to Tiona to address my concerns. After 3 emails and 2 calls with no response, it is clear that Tiona and the management does not care at all about customer satisfaction. I understand that these things can happen, but I don't understand why I can't get the respect of a response.

I dont typically leave reviews because weve never had an issue at a Holiday Inn, but the room we were given, after we got settled and I Clorox wiped the desk where there were sticky drink rings and windows where there was either dark dirt or mold, we found a sticky brown wet spot on the floor, and hair/stains on pillowcases and sheets. My husband asked to switch rooms I will say that the front desk was more than accommodating and apologetic, but that room also had hair and dried blood spots on the pillow cases. It also smelled of a wet dog. Room #3 the front desk clerk came up with us to make sure it was okay. It had no odor and was much cleaner than the others. We didnt eat the hot breakfast because the night before we saw ants everywhere in the dining area on tables, etc. There were drunken men in their underwear knocking on doors at 2 am looking for women to have s*x with. Im glad others had a decent experience, but I guess we came at the wrong time. Again, the front desk staff was wonderful, but would we stay at this location again? Probably not.

by far the worst Holiday Inn and Suites I have stayed at. First off the pool was freezing cold, and when I went to the front office to have them restock the towels in the pool room, stood there for about 15mins before the two employees that were at the desk to acknowledge that I was even there. When I informed them of towels needing to be restocked, the employee said he had just filled them. The people who were in the hotel room above us were running around making a lot of noise, keeping us awake. This was after 11 pm. on both nights. I tried to use the hotel room phone to call the office, but it did not work. There was one tiny trash can in the room that was in the bathroom, and the towels were stained and not white, and they smelled like they were not clean. My family and I were in the eating area to eat the complimentary breakfast, and there were ants crawling all over our table and the wall next to our table. I am very unsatisfied with the hotel and the customer service and the cleanliness of the hotel. I have always enjoyed staying at Holiday Inns, but this one was a big disappointment.
