Hartland Homes

I will never build with Hartland Homes again. We paid almost $250,000 to have a driveway and sidewalk that are just falling apart. All they want to do is patch it. Why? Just so the patch can fall off later? Their not so great warranty guy first tells us the driveway has chipped because a tiny Honda Civic drove over the edge of the driveway. But the house down the street from us had concrete poured and not even a few days later had a truck drive over it and they said oh that is no big deal a truck won't do any damage to it. So please tell me how a Honda Civic is going to chip my driveway??? We have a picture on our closing day that you can zoom in and see the chip in our driveway. He obviously just wanted an excuse as to why our driveway is already falling apart. Adam even admitted the grader ran into our driveway after going back and forth with how they're going to fix it. He told my fianc at first if the driveway proceeds to fall apart after their one year warranty is over they would split the cost of a new driveway needing to be put in later. On the phone call today he said sorry I ever said that, they won't split the cost anymore. So Hartland will lie to you to make you feel better then just go back on their word. I wouldn't trust a thing they say. Our sidewalk is also falling apart. So what is the excuse for that??

Bought my first home in July of 2004. Hartland Homes did a fantastic job. I truly am thankfully I used them all these years ago. It has been a blessing having such a solid home.

Started this process 2 years ago after being told it would only take 1 year for the whole process. The total lack of communication on top of the poor builder quality products. Their Agent lied on multiple occasions and had no clue what was going on. The attention to detail proved to be even worse than the communication. They have come out to fix some of the things "they forgot" but then left holes in the drywall and their "fixes" have started to break too. If I could go back I would have just settled for a starter home that was actually built with quality.
