From check-in, to being seen, to the labs department, everyone here is so polite and caring. They actually listen and look for solutions instead of just checking boxes and giving you generic answers. I really appreciate the individualized service from people that care.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This has been nothing short of a nightmare from a billing perspective. I was referred to Dr Pella by another CHI doctor (Dr Boik at Prairie Lake) who was in my network. After three visits here I started receiving bills for out of network coverage. This office assured me the billing was correct and the amounts were high because I had a high deductible plan. That made zero sense. My insurance carrier says they are out of network. The office and Dr Pella insist they are in network, but are unwilling or unable to provide me with any proof of that to take to my insurance carrier. I have been getting the run around for over five months now. It's absolutely crazy. At this point I'm not sure if they are simply inept or if this is intentional. Based on some of the other reviews here, it looks like it is indicative of a larger problem. Whatever the issue is, they don't care. That part is clear. My advice would be to take your business somewhere else. Between this office and Prairie Lake, I have been overcharged around $1500 for services that should have been covered by my insurance. I went to these people for help and have come out so much worse, without any answers.

I was completely satisfied with the provider I saw, but as others have said, the billing process is a nightmare.
I received billing statements, but it was not at all clear that my insurance had been run, so I called to give my insurance information again, asking that it be run. The customer service rep took my information and told me that they would run the insurance. I thought I would receive a follow up statement with a new balance, which I would then pay.
But I didn't receive an updated statement, I received notice that I'd been sent to collections.
So now my credit has been damaged, when I could have easily paid the bill, if their statements and customer service had told me insurance had been run and the statement was the remaining balance.
Because of these billing issues, I recommend going elsewhere - I definitely have.

My husband and I needed to undergo immigration medical exams, so we called their clinic. They said the cost for each of us would include 2 parts: a physical exam conducted by the doctor (doctor visit), and lab work. They said the cost for the doctor visit would be $280 per person and wouldn't be covered by insurance, and we would need to pay it at our appointment. We scheduled an appointment and they told us to bring our insurance cards when we went for our appointment. So we went for our appointment and paid $560 for the doctor visit. They asked for our insurance cards and made copies. The doctor conducted physical exams and we had lab work at their clinic. A few days later we received EOBs from the insurance company. One of my EOBs shows the clinic charged the insurance company $280 for "Medical examination". Another EOB of mine shows the clinic charged $481 for my lab work! One of my husband's EOBs shows the clinic also charged the insurance company $280 for "Medical examination". Another EOB of his shows the clinic charged $572 for his lab work! Our insurance doesn't cover any of these costs. A few days later we received bills from the clinic. Yep, $481 + $572 = $1053! For our lab work! We googled and found the cost for clinics to do lab work like this (lab work for immigration medical exams) is about $50 to $70 per person, but the clinic charged us $1053, which is ridiculously expensive! They are ripping us off!
