It is hard to find a place where they actually listen to your request, make you feel at home especially with respect,so I recommend and I can vouch that...Here at Joseph cosmetology is that place. Everyone here works together as a team. Great environment. They take the time to take care of you and your family. You have fun. When it is all said and done I guarantee you will be happy .

The instructor explained to me that my daughter had an allergic reaction, which is fine, nobody's fault. But she was literally yelling at me and her tone was beyond rude while she was telling me. I then asked her to lower her voice, and of course she said that is her normal tone and carried on YELLING at me. So when I yelled back, she didn't like it. Imagine that.

I made an appointment for a perm and a haircut a week ahead of time. When I arrived the student I had requested was not at work, so another student was assigned. During my visit, the student told me she had actually earned all of her perm credits, however, the student didn't condition the hair after the shampoo. The instructor made all of the decisions about time of processing and left the chemicals on my hair the full time. My hair is colored, but a regular perm was used. When the processing and neutralizing were completed, I asked the student to trim the tips of my hair. The student called the instructor over and the instructor did all of the cutting. The student then fluffed my wet hair and said we were done. When I asked her to style my hair, she told me she couldn't set my hair or use a dryer on it because it was too dry (styling with heat would cause more damage). She also said she didn't have time to style my hair because she had another client scheduled and she had to have some lunch before they arrived. I left the shop with a wet head in 30 degree temps and 3 new problems. 1. damaged hair from improper product application 2. a wet mess of hair and 3. no hair style. It wasn't exactly a College of BEAUTY in my opinion. I have been to Beauty Colleges before, but this was the pits. I went to the school because I wanted to give a young person a chance to practice and learn. The student learned nothing about applying a perm, evenly trimming a perm nor about providing service. This type of behavior is not going to endear the student to customers in a shop when she is finished with school, and IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE STUDENT, IT IS THE FAULT OF THE INSTRUCTOR.
