Waterbrook

I recently moved in and so far I am extremely happy I chose Waterbrook! I had a few very small issues and got prompt assistance from maintenance. The neighbors I have met thus far are friendly and welcoming. Management is wonderful and I do feel at home here!

The manager is great. She always send someone everytime you have issues in apartment. The one more thing that I should complain about is trash. Please blowout the trash outside to let outside look clean. The trash now is flying everywhere in the parking lot and entrance to the buildings

Unsupervised kids running around throwing rocks at people's vehicles. Lots of suspicious characters hanging around here late at night. Tenants regularly dump trash and discard shopping carts in dumpster of adjacent apartment complex. Lots of vehicle break ins in this area (per LPD officer patrolling area one night). Came out one morning to a torched car next to one of their garages. Also, the kids running around screaming at 9 PM at night with no parents around is pretty annoying as well. Kids coming to adjacent complex to pull fire alarms and shoot "gel blasters" at apartment buildings. Large loud parties. Assaults, stabbings, stolen cars, vandalism, you name it, they have it. 07/05/2022: murder suspect arrested here at 3123 North Hill Road. Tenants let dogs run around off leash and do not pick up their waste. 04/30/2023: heard 5 gun shots coming from Waterbrook apartments at 2 in the morning, contacted LPD. 03/03/2023 3:13am: watched a vagrant walk up to a 3rd floor stairway landing, lay down, and sleep outside of an apartment. Same apartment I've seen numerous suspicious persons come and go from. Makes one wonder if they're selling drugs out of that apartment. 06/26/2023 2:12am: bass music coming from Waterbrook apartments. Called LPD. 08/06/2023: pitbull running off leash with 2 kids. No adults present. 08/07/2023: toddler riding wheeled office chair down hill around cars in adjacent apartment complex parking lot. No adults to be found. 08/16/2023 11:30pm: two Waterbrook tenants (one a three time felon, showed up on people I may know on Facebook, checked his name to NDCS inmate locator (public record), he's been to prison twice for theft and once for DUI 4th offense) rummaging through dumpsters of adjacent apartment complex. Rode off on bicycles to Waterbrook. Same tenants who's apartment I've seen multiple suspicious persons and vagrants come and go from. Previously notified LPD regarding suspicious activity. Kids from Waterbrook climbing on garages of adjacent apartment complex. Kids from Waterbrook breaking into adjacent apartment complex tenant's vehicles. Kids from Waterbrook fishing adjacent apartment complex pond, posted no fishing, caching fish, starting fire behind adjacent apartment complex maintenance shed attempting to cook fish they caught. 09/04/2023: Waterbrook tenants cleaning out their vehicle and garage and dumping trash on the ground at adjacent apartment complex. 09/19/2023: Kids from Waterbrook at adjacent apartment complex tampering with vehicles, running around with t shirts on their faces, calling tenants of adjacent apartment complex the n word and threatening them. Kids throwing up gang signs and making shooting/gun hand gestures. 09/29/2023 8:45pm: Kids from Waterbrook returned to adjacent apartment complex to loiter around and tamper with vehicles. Kids becoming more verbally assaultive. Kids taunting adjacent apartment complex tenant's dogs. Kids walked back to Waterbrook Apartments parking lot and displayed and activated stun gun. 10/09/2023 6:09pm: gunshots coming from Waterbrook apartments. Called LPD. 10/13/2023 10:31pm: heard 9 gun shots coming from Waterbrook. Shooting spilled into adjacent apartment complex parking lot. Shooter and another individual exchanged gunfire in adjacent apartment complex parking lot. My neighbor's work van was hit by a bullet. One of the shooters ran back into Waterbrook apartments. LPD responded. I am concerned as to why Waterbrook and McCormack apartments allows this behavior from their tenants. The issues mentioned in my review have been going on for months. I have submitted video of the culprits and still nothing is done. Waterbrook and McCormack apartments have shown deliberate indifference to the actions by their tenants. I will be contacting HUD and Lincoln Housing Authority and informing them of the incidents in my review. Future incidents will result in LE being called.
