        They do not honor their posted prices. I placed an order that was almost $800 and after several days they called and said that two of my items have had a price increase and that my new total would be almost $1400. I was given option to pay it or cancel so I cancelled the entire order. Very shady tactic and disappointing. I have purchase from them in the past with lots of things not being in stock and had to get refunds. Have also purchased many capacitors and were all extremely out of spec.

        Great company-- I've bought various components and parts to upgrade my (mostly) antique stereo system. The prices are mostly 1/4 what they would be elsewhere....Example: about a year ago I needed an erase head for my Tapesonic 70 trs R-R. NOBODY had such a thing--Surplus Sales had one that proved to be a perfect match. About 1/5 the price of a Nortronics head, if one had been available.

        Been a customer for 20 years great outfit. If they dont have your tube instock that means it will be difficult find anywhere else.
