We didn't even make it in due to our experience so I don't want to unfairly rate the rooms. The location of this Rodeway Inn is perfect and it's very affordable so we were pretty disappointed we had to drive an extra 30 minutes to go to a different place to stay. We had never been to a hotel in the area so we were calling to compare and ask questions since it was already going to be a late night we didn't want to make it longer. Usually we like to go to Choice hotels since they have good service. This time I called Rodeway and genuinely thought I had lost service as no one answered. I waited a bit and called again and heard a whisper, I asked for the person to speak up but he hardly spoke above a whisper and didn't confirm I was calling the correct hotel almost as if I had called a personal number. I went through the Choice website this time ensuring I was calling the correct place so we could confirm we could come in at 5am (it was about 2am their time) this man answered again and I asked if he could speak up. He said "you called from this number but don't talk what do you need" in an irritated voice. I apologized and stated I was on the road and could not hear him answer when I called. He was very disrespectful stating we would need to pay twice or wait to come in at 2pm the following day. I stated we needed to come in that morning and leave a few hours later not the following day (we had already confirmed there was a vacancy). He began arguing with me on when we needed to be there and stated I needed to pay for two nights if I wanted to stay there two nights. I had reiterated that we had already reserved online but wanted to confirm we could come in at 5am as we were pulling into town then but would be leaving prior to 2pm. He was very disrespectful and unwilling to try to understand or listen to what I was trying to say. We ended up calling Choice to resolve the situation and from the sounds of it he was disrespectful to the choice agent as well. Choice normally is very good but whoever the night manager or worker was on that Saturday was so disrespectful we ended up canceling our reservation and chose a different choice hotel. Online it states there is a continental breakfast however this man became upset when I asked and was unclear on whether they serve it or not. I've heard good things in the past but this manager is not at all someone who should be in customer service when he can't answer the phone properly much less help customers.

We had a good stay at this motel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. On our trip we stayed at other motels that were twice the cost or more of this one and it was just as good.
