Long John Silver's | A&W

This small minute Columbus restaurant was absolutely just ridiculously delicious. A lot of long john Silver's are closed all over the midwest, but not here. It's mixed with an A&W and a gass station. Fairly clean and good service. Though the air dryer in the men's bathroom barely works, and there are no paper towels. Could possibly use some updating. Oh, and there is also a small arcade. It's totally worth going to, and I would highly recommend it. Now the biggest problem is that the made fresh in store rootbeer is fed through the soda fountain, which is unusual for a&ws and honestly lessens the experience.

Drove 20 miles to have supper at LJS in Columbus NE. Arrived at 5:30 PM. Outside lights were on, including at the drive up. The door was locked, sign on the door stated "Due to staffing problems we are closed." Yeah, right. Never again. Will be calling corporate in the am.

We wanted to go to LJS because we lost ours in Norfolk Nebraska. We finished with our business in Columbus Nebraska and call and told one of our significant others that we would bring them home LJS. We went to LJS at about 430pm and the door was locked. A sign said that due to being under staffed that they were closed. We walk over to the drive thru and stood there hoping someone might ask for our order. After awhile someone finally came on the intercom and said that she couldn't take our order because of being understaffed, she was closed. That was the one thing that we were looking for was eating at LJS. We were very disappointed. After reading some of the other comments maybe we didn't miss anything anyway. This place needs to completely close, clean it up and reopen with new management and new employees.
