We really liked the water, it is cold, but very clean. The only thing I can say was there were a lot of flies, you need to bring some repellent, but from the outside everything was perfect.

Beautiful lake to Kayak on. Our dog had a great time playing fetch.

Terrible beach. The sand will destroy your feet if you walk on it for more than 5 minutes. Tons of bugs everywhere. Also, the water is beyond freezing cold, even in July Warning - docks are private and you will almost certainly be told that by anyone who is out there. UPDATE 2023: The mosquitos are insufferable, even with the strongest of repellent (I prefer deet-based). You will almost certainly get eaten alive here.
