I have stayed at more than a few fishing lodges and this was my favorite. The number of fishable areas near bye allow you to fish a lot of different types of fishing. I would highly recommend fishing the private waters on Ruby and Mill Creek if you are an experienced fly fisher. Don't let the small waters fool you, there are large brown trout in these waters. If you fish these creeks, I recommend TJ for your guide. He was outstanding.
Food & drinks: The staff, service and meals were amazing.
Noteworthy details: From the minute we arrived, we felt welcomed and it was like being at your own home.

Mike and Laura own and operate the best fly fishing lodge in the country, full stop! Awesome guides, great river and lake access, professional grade gear, top shelf meals, friendly and knowlegble staff, peaceful setting all surrounded by the most beautiful mountains in Montana. Don't settle for any less than Healing Waters Lodge!

My wife and I spent 4 nights/ 3 days with Mike and Laura at the Healing Waters Lodge. The hospitality, lodge and food were all top notch. We were able to fish some private water which made for an incredible few days of fishing. We highly recommend HWL and will absolutely be back in the future.

Another outstanding visit to Healing Waters and Western Montana. Laura and Mike are wonderful hosts, the lodge and location are beautiful, the cuisine is exceptional, and the fishing and guides are most enjoyable. I look forward to returning.
