Alpine Lodge

A bit overpriced but they are taking advantage of a huge tourist season. OK but not as good as it used to be. Breakfast discontinued Oct 1. We had one coffee cup for breakfast, and a few water cups, office is closed early and doesn't open until later moring.

10 minutes from the center, and along magnificent sidewalks. The large and cozy room with a very comfortable bed. It's totally worth it.

Clean rooms that look recently remodeled. Grounds are well kept. Breakfast was included and cooked to order and there were 6 choices. Each was tasty. Specialty coffees can be ordered for extra charge. This isn't a 'typical ' motel.

Highly recommend Alpine Lodge! The beds were very comfy and clean We had to leave early the next morning for our start on the Beartooth Highway (nearby) and we couldnt have asked for a better location. The gentleman that ran the lodge/breakfast counter (Larry) was very sweet and started breakfast earlier for us so we could get on our journey. The breakfast starts at 7pm (signage says 6:30). It was delicious and hit the spot for our long drive on the highway and all around Yellowstone. Very thankful to Larry who helped us out, and Brittany (housekeeper) that provided a nice clean cabin for our short stay.
