The Starving Artist Cafe & Art Gallery

Cozy little place with character. This place is awesome for winter with its fireplace and comfy chairs. The featured art pieces are always awesome, and I don't know about you but I enjoy the opportunity to doodle while I hang out. I actually can't drink caffeine though, so I can't comment on too many of their drinks. :)

Good place to get a coffee or snack. Lots of places to sit. And for a small donations to the local library you can "purchase" a book from their collection for $2 donation

I live in the Bitterroot, but when I get to Missoula, I enjoy stopping by the Starving Artist for a treat! I love the atmosphere with so much interesting local art and delicious locally made pastries. I had so much fun doing a watercolor class and now I'm hooked on the yummy homemade waffles! Having a nice warm fire is an added bonus when it's chilly out. So convenient too, right on Reserve.

If you are looking for a great place to study, look not further. The Starving Artist has great deals on locally roasted coffee and you can really settle down for the day with a cup of bottomless drip. They offer pour over coffee for snobs like myself, and have a variety of menu items in case you work up an appetite. Also Big Dipper Ice Cream. And a great staff.
