On Saturday, July 15, 2023, my 2000 Ford Excursion started blowing considerable amounts of motor oil about 45 miles east of Missoula on I-90. Luckily we were traveling in convoy and one of the other leaders transporting the 26 Boy Scouts from Troop 220 to summer camp notified me that I was losing oil. I pulled over and shut off the engine before the 7.3L Navistar diesel engine ran out of oil. I called AAA to have her towed to a repair shop. AAA tried to steer me to the local Ford dealer but, based on the reviews I saw on Google, I decided to have my truck towed to Outlaw Diesel. Unfortunately, Outlaw was closed for the weekend BUT Amber got my truck in the week of July 17th. It turned out that it was only a blown O-ring. The owner, John, replaced the O-ring and topped up the oil in time for our departure from Camp Melita for the 500+ mile trip back to Bountiful, Utah on the 22nd. The bill was fair. The Excursion ran great. No oil is leaking. It is always disconcerting to have a breakdown--even worse in an area where you don't know the repair shops. John could have totally taken advantage of me and I wouldn't have known the difference. I am very grateful for having found Outlaw. It is a real blessing to find a good mechanic. John is the best of all: a great mechanic, fair in his pricing, AND honest. I now have an additional excuse to visit beautiful Montana again. Thank you, Amber and John! Dan Loose 7/24/2023

My new favorite diesel shop took my truck in for allot of work injectors, glow plugs, ect. The owner was up front on prices and everything that needed to be done I looked it over and was pleased to see that he had broke down the price for parts and labor he gave me great pricing to were I was able to afford to get it all done at once my truck was done in a timely manner and professional I'm very happy with the work and I will recommend him and his shop to all my friends thank you bud my truck runs great
