I have been working with Taylor at Caras in hamilton since 2019 and I just cant say enough good things about her! So professional and so incredibly helpful! She really listens to her clients and is quick to get an understanding for their needs which is a lost art these days it seems! Her knowledge of the valley and the relationships she has with the community make her that much more valuable as she knows the market and you feel secure that the rates youre getting are so fair. She has such a wide clientele of people looking to rent their homes out that she can even anticipate whats to come and thats so so so huge! I would use her over and over for rentals and have recommended her services to several people now, we love her!

I was considering moving in to a unit with these guys, however they failed to return the full deposit to the previous renter. I checked the unit out before the renter was vacated and spoke to them about their experience and with a very pensive attitude they told me to steer clear as well. I decided to rent elsewhere and I would recommend the same for you.

These guys don't give 30 day notices.. EVER. It's 3 days maximum and you'll recieve one for having your doctor fill out an emotional support animal prescription that isn't on CARAS' little piece of paper. They charge you for broken appliances like faulty dishwashers, heating units and collapsed duct work. They will not budge on rent even if the house isn't habitable for over a week due to heat issues. You assume that when leave your house for a quarter of a month because of habitation issues, you shouldn't get charged. Caras will charge you extra for sending their maintenance people to fix things, charge after charge after charge. Had renters insurance for 5 months, they call and say it needs a larger liability cap... AFTER 5 MONTHS!?!? LEARN TO RUN A COMPANY WITH REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Until then Cardinal Properties will always be my go to in the bitterroot. Go back to Missoula caras.
