Travelodge by Wyndham Great Falls

Hotel is in the middle of renovation so you might be missing some light bulbs, the water to your sink might not work or have a cigarette burn in your bed spread. Otherwise it was warm and dry and right in the heart of downtown Great Falls and pretty close to the river.

Did not have the room we reserved a month earlier. Staff was not knowledgeable. Luggage carts were old. 1 door was broken. Parkade was leaking. Our door did not close well. Guest were smoking by the no smoking sign. TV channels did not line up with channel list in the room. Just did not feel safe leaving the car or in the rooms.

Great location downtown, they have underground parking which is great in Montana winters or hot summers. Elevator from parking level right to your floor. Very walkable to many business and food/ drink spots. They have done some renovations and they continue to do so. Nothing fancy but cleaning up and modernizing a little. Don't get your expectations to high. Sometimes loud in the hallways and soundproofing isn't tremendous, again for the value consider this. I don't mind. But I know some yahoo's would give 1 star.

I Stay at this establishment when in town however this last time was not a great experience. My stay was horrible to be honest. I stay there all the time when but this time I waited 20 min for someone to check me in there was no one at the front desk. I called them 5 times well at the desk hoping to get someones attention and nothing. It was late at night I was exhausted and would have left and taken my business elsewhere but had already paid. Finally 2 men come off the elevator, and when I brought it to their attention that I was waiting for 20 minutes already all they could say to me was sorry we had to deliver five pillows to a customer. Than the room had no towels and was informed by the manager after check in that if I wanted hot water that i would have to let the water run for a while due to a burst water pipe. I let it run for 20 min and even then it was barely like warm. When I woke up the following morning I called to ask if I could do a. Lnoon checkout and they said the would have to charge me an extra 30 dollars. Rooms: Clean

The Gm is terrible! We woke up to water all over our bedroom floor from the room next to us, toilet water!!! My wife slipped and hit her neck and head and we have damaged property, the GM refused to do anything for us and didn't Even apologize. Our room was dirty and it had a bad smell!! The only thing good there was the two ladies at the front desk, they were super friendly to my wife and I and thought the General manager should have done more for us as well. I do not recommend. Oh and they over charged our debit card!
