Flying Pig Adventures Yellowstone Whitewater Rafting

My husband and I used the Flying Pig for an eight hour fly fishing trip and Thomas was our guide. He was fantastic! He definitely helped to make the day great! He was knowledgeable and was so helpful. The next day we booked a rafting trip and Jackson was our guide. He was just as friendly and helpful as Thomas was the day before. Everyone we encountered, from the owners to the staff, were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a fishing guide or a rafting trip. We look forward to our next trip and will definitely use the Flying Pig again!

recommended these guys if your looking to raft the Yellowstone! From the amazing service to the fun & knowledge guides, this was an experience I wont forget! Ill definitely be booking with them again when I return to Gardiner! Our group of nomads were in the area for our 2nd annual digital nomad day meetup and the flying pig was terrific in accommodating our group! Regardless of the weather not being exactly what we would have chosen for that day, our guide Jax (I hope Im remembering his name correctly) made us forget all about the gloomy skys and laugh our heads off. He was patient and knowledgeable in guiding us into so many fun rapids despite the rivers low water levels in August of 2021! You wont regret this choice! An easy walk downhill directly behind the store to your raft, then a level nice takeout spot down the river! On the bus back to our cars they also provided a snack, a nice touch to our hungry bellys after that excitement :) Also, but the photos! The photographer does an absolutely amazing job at capturing the fun of this experience!

We didn't actually get to go rafting but rating them based on their customer service. We booked a 2 hour raft trip 3 months in advance but the day of was 50° and raining. We thought it was too late to get our money back so prepared to go in the cold and rain. Some gal called me 10 minutes before we were set to go in and asked if we wanted to cancel with a full refund since the weather was miserable and we had 2 kids in our group. She did first try to reschedule for the next day but weather wasn't promising either and we were leaving the following day. We were really disappointed we couldn't go rafting but knew it wouldn't have been the experience we were looking forward to and so appreciate the fact that we got a full refund even though they were still going to take the raft out. Thanks Flying Pig! Not all companies would do that!
