Took my family of 6 dogsledding with this crew and had a wild and whacky time. First, the drive in is beautiful and probably the most scenic place we went in Montana. We were lucky and saw a Moose on the drive to the camp, and saw some elk on the mountain across from their camp. It's a really remote area. Wild. Second, we got to drive the sleds. All of us got to take turns. Which was the whacky part. We weren't the best at it (my kids wouldn't hang on to sled) and so things got a little crazy. The dog sled staff handled our misadventures wonderfully though. They have a snowmobile rider follow and if you get turned around or on the wrong trail they help you. They helped us a lot. It seemed scary at first, but the dogs go at a conservative speed, so we never got out of control. It was a lot of fun and worth every penny. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

We had do much fun! Easy to learn, wonderful dogs, great fun! The owner, Jason is so kind and helpful along with his staff. They have big fluffy blankets for when you are riding along, hot chocolate/ coffee/ tea and a heated tent if you are cold while waiting. The road down to Basecamp is very snow-covered, definitely recommend an all wheel drive.

We had the best time with Jason and Yellowstone DogSled Adventures! We came on a morning after a lot of snow overnight, and the team was kind enough to make sure we made it safely up to the base camp. Once we arrived, Jason told us all about the dogs, the sleds, and basic commands while sledding. He left a lot of time for us to ask questions, and we got underway with the sledding. It was a blast! The dogs LOVE to run and they do such a good job making sure the dogs get plenty of breaks while sledding, especially since there was so much new snow on the ground which can be hard for the dogs to get through. The staff went out on one dog sled in front, and a snow mobile in the back so that they were right there in the event wed need anything. When we got back to the camp, they gave us plenty of time to pet and spend time with the dogs, and all of them are extremely friendly and love attention. It is clear that they are extremely well taken care of and the staff all love the dogs and their job! Great experience!
