DW Burns was contracted to do the plumbing on our home and two cabins. We have contracted over at least $50K in work to DW Burns over the years. Recently, we requested in mid December 2021 that a hose bib in one of our cabins be repaired. After calling many times, we are now more than six weeks out after our initial request. In our most recent call we were advised that a repair is still at least four weeks away. After contracting DW Burns for over $50K in work and being put on hold for 10 weeks...our advice is to avoid contracting DW Burns... Services: Repair HVAC, Heating system installation, Heating system repair

another call. Ed looked at it for 2 minutes, and agreed it needed replacing. I asked if they did A/C window units. Ed said they had one sitting on the shelf that someone did not want and would help them out if we bought it. I asked for a price and he got back to me with the price. While Ed, the tech, was at the house he had dip pouring out of his mouth. He thinks that is fine to be in people's living room with dip pouring out of his mouth. 'You're in Montana' is his justification. Ed believes respect and manners in someone else's home doesn't exist in Montana. On the invoice was a $120 'service' call. I was perplexed as I told them that I needed pressure tank, and there is no mention of $120 show up fee on website, nor did Anyone disclose the fee. The estimate for a new pressure tank and estimate for a a/c wall unit, and the pleasure of watching dip pour out of Ed's mouth in my living room cost $120. DESPITE the listing of 'Free Estimates' on the DW Burns Plumbing Heating Website. When Ed did come back out to replace the pressure tank, he did not bring the right parts, the extra time for him to get the parts was billed as well. When I asked Ed about why I was charged undisclosed fees and his unprofessionalism, he said 'you can take your business and shove it'. Make sure you have a spit cup ready, are ready to pay undisclosed fees if you call them to your home. The new Pressure tank works. I won't be buying the A/C unit.
