The man who owns/runs this office is unprofessional, egotistical and dare I say, creepy. Strung along for months, obsessed with payment, lack of communication, unprofessional conversation and comments by the owner to name a few issues. Seems like this place should be shut down, never have heard anything good about them.

Shanie, the front desk lady is extremely rude. Tried to call to get information for my husband as we dont have cell service at home and was in town and had cell service to call finally as a they never responded to our email inquiry. she wouldnt even let me explain the situation just told me no and that was it. For being a business that is supposed to help with mental health its pretty crappy the way they treat people on the phone trying to seek help.

If you are looking for a decent counseling business, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Their accounting does not know their head from a hole in the ground, is very rude and inconsiderate of the financial situation that their department puts families in because of their lack of attention to their accounting. I began my counseling with one of their providers that has moved along to practice on their own. After not seeing anyone at Providence in months, I receive a bill in excess of $1,000.00 of back charged for visits over two years old! They are rude and tell you to figure it out and pay it or get sent to collections. All these one-star reviews are a true representation of the business and how they operate. If you truly want to better yourself, look elsewhere. I understand needing to pay your bills, but when years pass and no invoice is ever issued, that seems to be very unethical for a business that wants to help people succeed.

If I could give negative stars I would. It has taken me 2 years of therapy with a real professional to even write this review. When clinicians leave a caseload without coverage by an appropriately qualified professional, it is called client abandonment. If they have done this to you, it was never your fault -the blame lies with them. This company and its counselors engage in this regularly. This is a 100% for profit company and the counselors who work there are not interested in mental health in an ethical manner that puts the patient in a safe position to receive care. They are interested solely on profit and their needs over patients/customers. It is unethical to end therapy abruptly unless they are physically threatened. Crying, sobbing, telling your fears, and asking questions are all normal behaviors in therapy and are not physically threatening. Neither is financial strain that may make paying for care difficult. Client abandonment is unethical and real. The people who work here should take a deep look at their actions towards others when deciding how they treat people in their care and disengage from behavior that harms. I would never recommend anyone here to anyone because this corporation does not care about their clients. If you have been abandoned by your mental health provider keep looking for help, don't give up. There are good professionals in Bozeman, but they don't work at Providence.
