Solstice Landscaping

Solstice was amazing to work with and are true landscape artists and professionals. We had a very large project with complete replacement of 20 year old landscaping, an outdoor kitchen and a greenhouse. Solstice made sure that the entire project was seamless, well designed, and had the highest level of sub-contractors. The project started with design and Errol is a true artist and has incredible skills and insight into putting together a fantastic design plan. He is pleasant to work with, professional, and works well to incorporate customers feedback, interests and design aesthetics. Errol is especially good at recalling ideas and thoughts from casual conversations and incorporating into designs and suggestions. He is skilled at getting to know the customer and helping them with decisions for a tailored unique design. The Solstice team worked hard and was highly skilled in every aspect of landscaping (e.g. irrigation, stone work, patios, drainage etc.)

We recently completed a large landscaping project with Solstice. We could not be more pleased with not just the result, but the entire process. Errol and his team orchestrated a large landscaping and hardscaping project that including gorgeous custom metal planters and gardening beds, patio, fire pit and outdoor kitchen, as well as lots of plantings. Project was completed within budget, despite some unanticipated changes to the project as we went along. We love our new outdoor space, which has completely transformed the way we utilize our backyard!

We recently completed a home landscaping project in Bozeman that included a patio remodel, garden and fence fabrication and wrap around landscaping. This was a project a couple years in the making and we are extremely pleased with the beautiful work and impeccable professionalism of Errol Schumann, the operations manager and his crew at Solstice. We decided to go with Solstice after looking at several different landscape companies. We were very impressed by the beautiful design work Solstice has done around southwest Montana and were impressed by Errol's deep knowledge of ecology, local plant selection and design aesthetic. His calm and patient demeanor were very helpful throughout this process and we always felt confident in his thoughtful suggestions. Once the project got started, there were naturally a few unexpected hiccups, most notably the weather and some unexpected findings in foundation of our house. Errol was quickly able to change and adapt the design and stay in range of our projected budget. Throughout the late spring and into the summer, his team was always prompt, hardworking and paid close attention to detail. Errol was often on site despite managing multiple projects and was always easy to reach with questions or concerns. We have been thrilled with the final outcome and the project stayed well within our projected budget. Solstice provided a detailed, line by line invoice so there was never any mystery regarding the cost of the project. We would highly recommend Solstice landscaping and look forward to seeing the beautiful work that they do around the area.

Soltice provided a two phase project for us over the past year which included custom design and full installation of irrigation, walkway construction, garden bed installation, rebuilding our stone patio, and sod installation. Errol is lovely to work with and very responsive and thoughtful with his designs. His crew is professional, has great attention to detail, and is courteous. We were given updates in a timely manner and the project was completed efficiently. We are very excited to enjoy our new and beautiful yard!
