If I could rate this Bank a zero, I would. I've never left a negative review for anyone except this Bank. It's been on my to-do list to switch Banks because of multiple other issues after the transition to interstate Bank from Great Western. So many headaches. Today and last minute, I traveled to Omaha to withdraw cash for our 11 kids including daughter-in-law's. We are celebrating Christmas this weekend. Our main gift to them is cash and guess what, they couldn't access my account so, no Christmas presents. I'm devastated. Oh - according to two ATMs that I've tried, all the sudden my PIN number doesn't work...

I was a customer of Great western bank for a very long time and once First interstate took over it got worse and worse, I finally closed my account and switched to a real bank. Do not trust them with your money, I had an issue at Great western they knew me when came in and they addressed me by my name like a neighbor. This bank told me they use an outside company to handle issues, and the number they gave me came up possible scam, so I tried to take care of the issue at the bank and they would not, so I took the loss and move to a very long standing privately owned bank, I sure miss Great western, but I do believe I found an equivalent bank. With actual customer service.

Been with this bank for over a decade and it's finally time to call it quits. We have multiple accounts, and they are absolutely terrible for business accounts. Today was the last straw. I go online to order more checks, and click over to the Harland Clarke website through FIB's site, and it's not letting me order checks. This is a relatively simple banking task, and I can go online and order from any 3rd party vendor just fine. I feel like it would be more secure to go through the FIB website, but maybe not... I called customer service, at FIB, and the lady I spoke with on 2/23/23 at around 11:15 am was very unhelpful. She told me I had to establish an order history on my 10 year old business account to order checks (I had just ordered checks for another business account with no problems 2 weeks before this, with no "order history" on that account either), and that she would have to do it for me, and I told her I could not view any of the checks before I ordered them on the Harland Clarke website without logging my banking info in. 90% of the checks on those sites are not good enough looking or secure enough for business checks, and so I want to approve them before I order, like any reasonable business owner. She suggested I come into the bank to look at some checks to approve them, like this is the 1980's or something. The next time I go visit the bank, will be to grab a bank check and move my business and personal accounts to a bank that can make my day work more smoothly and offer more helpful service. Another thing which really grinds my gears with this bank is their ATMs. I have not successfully been able to use my business debit card to make any ATM check deposits besides at the Downtown location. This used to be an awesome feature, and one day, the ability to do this just vanished. Also when you try to scan the check you get the absolute worst image quality available. Like it is just unreasonable. This past year while doing taxes, we had to get out a magnifying glass to see certain checks. Maybe it's time to upgrade those ATMs? In general, there just isn't any reason to stay with this bank anymore, over another larger bank, or even a credit union.
