I feel like Rick is in good hands. Spring Creek understands the many challenges that dementia brings. They care about Ricks hygiene, health, safety and dignity.

In 4 years since my father became a resident at Spring Creek Inn, he has received exceptional care and genuine concern for his well-being, not only for him but for each resident. Even during the worst of circumstances (Covid quarantine, angry and confused residents), the kindness exhibited by each staff member exceeds my highest expectations.

We moved my mother into Spring Creek Inn last May, following the death of my stepdad, who was her caregiver. My mother is a fairly high-functioning Alzheimer's patient, but also a shy loner, more of an introvert. She always has requested to stay within her room almost totally unless she is out with me. I and the staff have tried to get her out more frequently, but because of her preferences, I cannot speak too well of activities and some things. I CAN say with confidence that my mother (and our family) has always felt the staff has treated her with kindness, understanding and care. She has never been unhappy and asking to leave. I have occasionally shared lunch and dinner there and I felt the food has been very tasty. There are times I wish she could connect with other higher functioning patients, but "connecting" and "Alzheimer's" just doesn't go hand in hand and her shyness also weakens that likelihood. The Activities gal is good at trying to get my mom into some of the activities and sends me pictures and texts when she is successful. I can't speak for every position but most of the main positions seems to have good continuity and no noticeable turnover. Overall, I do rate them highly because I do feel that everyone I encounter seems to be caring and kind.
