Intermountain Health Heights Clinic – Walk-in

Brought a friend in to be seen for some issues that have been getting worse ~week now. We came in on a Sunday as most walk ins are closed. She was denied medical attention as she has medicaid insurance and her provider is Billings clinic. ( which is closed this day). Even offering to pay out of pocket she was denied and told that it would be fraudsince when would that be the case? Only way that would happen is if you tried to bill it. Paying cash for services rendered is not fraud. Horrible place and not a friendly check in receptionist.

I went in for an ingrown toenail removal. While I waited in the room he came back with a needle and no alcohol wipes. I let him know that I metabolize lidocaine quickly. He said lidocaine really?. Before even wiping down my skin with alcohol wipes he proceeded to stab my foot aggressively again and again. Without a few seconds to have the medicine kick in. He then said after he was done injecting my foot well you took that like a champ. He proceeded to leave the room and said he would be back in 5 minutes to start the procedure. At this point I didnt feel comfortable anymore, my husband was there and he said he almost saw the needle go out the other end. I felt like if I did this procedure that I was going to be in pain during it. He didnt listen to me and he was very aggressive. Afterwards I was reviewing the notes, he said that he spoke to me about antibiotics and my blood pressure. He never mentioned giving my antibiotics which he then prescribed to cover his butt. He also said that he gave us a handout for my blood pressure, but that isnt true either. You need to do better. I will be filing a formal complaint on you.

Check in nurse was amazing!! The doctor on the other hand not so much.This gal said I need to give my daughter Pedialyte 3 days straight no formula pretty sure my duaghter has a sinus infection but she told us no and everything looked good, got a second opinion the same night from a different doctor and she has a sinus infection and a ear infection!! Super upset honestly and annoyed.

Building a home from scratch. Writing a thesis. Traveling the world. Watch everything on Netflix .. These are all things you can do while waiting to be seen by a doctor here. Wish I had another thumb so I could give this place 3 down, but seeing as how I'm still here waiting, I may be able to grow another.
