Sophie's Kitchen

I have always loved Sophies and never had an issue, today was absolutely unacceptable, my 6 month pregnant friend and I were trying to wait out of the way of the door, we were standing in a small hallway by the host stand when a blonde employee with tattoos on her neck came over and yelled at us to move away from the aisle we were standing in, she continues to raise her voice and very very rudly demands us to stand against the wall, there was easily 30 people waiting in this small area and we had not been in the building for 2 minutes before she came up to us. We moved to the only spot open infront of the door as I said to my friend this is kinda the only other spot open she overheard me and again started screaming at us that we made the tables feel awkward when we wait by them and needed to get out of the way at this point I had enough and let the host know we were leaving because of how rude she was the lady again screamed over me and said OH NOW THEYRE LEAVING Im not sure why she handled this the way she did we had no problem moving but the way she went about the entire situation was both embarrassing and uncomfortable for us. This happened infront of the other 30 people waiting and I could see how uncomfortable this made them as well.. My friend and I come to Sophies about 2-3 times a month and undoubtedly will probably never return over this ladys behavior. We went to the local and had a great experience.

Very good food here. The service was excellent. Prices were fair. Very clean establishment. Vegetarian options: The Vegihash was really good!
