I had terrible reproductive health issues and planned parenthoods staff was nothing but kind and understanding. They listened to me and got me on better birth control to help my issues. I am forever thankful to them over the last few years

Unfortunately I flew into Billings to this clinic to get an old birth control implant removed and another put in. The last time I was charged $2000 at hospital and had to sell my only vehicle to pay them, and didn't want that to happen again. This clinic assured me that my Medicare/Medicaid insurance would cover most of it so I flew in from Wolf Point to have it done. After the procedure I got stranded at the hospital overnight, and because I'm a disabled schizophrenic who was having a bad day and talking to myself the police took me to a homeless shelter, then to an ER. At the ER they refused to even give me water, tackled me, strapped me down to a bed and drugged me. They lied and said I was suicidal. The security guard kept grabbing my arm where I had the birth control implant surgically implanted earlier that day. I screamed and screamed. I can never go back to Billings, I am afraid for my life, especially to a hospital. But the birth control implant seems to be making my bones brittle- especially since I'm 50 years old, and I keep breaking them. I need the birth control implant taken out for my own health, but can't get it out of my arm. I am still paying the $1000 bill for it- this clinic has no sliding scale and my insurance only covered the visit to the clinic, not the actual implant or surgical procedure. And I didn't even get a pap smear out of the deal.

I have called multiple times to set up an appointment. Left my name and number and never get called back. DocAsap wont even let me in my account to make an appointment. It would be great to actually be able to speak to someone. Ive been crying at home because I cant find anyone to remove my Nexplanon implant

It was my first time visiting Planned Parenthood so I felt nervous and vulnerable. I was greeted by lovely front admin. Seamless process to sign up and wait for care. My nurse Vicki was funny and empathetic with my situation while helping ease my concerns and situation. She had wonderful bedside manner and kind/caring demeanor. Dr. Liz took her time listening to my concerns and helped figure out my problem which I was so relieved. I felt seen and heard like never before in a medical setting. I highly recommend planned Parenthood and am forever grateful for their care. Thank you so much for making a difference in patient's live. You sure made a difference in mine.
