It was Christmas day and a Sunday afternoon. We were entertaining visiting family with about 11 people in the house. It was also cold outside. Then the furnace quit. I called Bob at Elite and started a fire in the fireplace with visions of a long time without heat. Turns out, I did not need the fireplace. 15 minutes after my call, Bob was on the job. Another 15 minutes, furnace was up and running. Everyone stayed warm and toasty!

I would highly suggest you stay away from this business.  They installed a furnace in a home i purchased. I was unable to find where the filter on the unit was so i asked them to come out to show me.  Joey, the technician who showed up was very helpful. He determined that there was no filter holder installed when the new furnace attached to the old intake ducting. Joey explained they could cut in through the ducting a slot for the filter. Great. I called the owner Bob to ask when this could be done. He immediately went on the defense explaining how they couldn't do it when the new unit was installed which didn't make sense but i continued to listen to him until the real point came that even though he installed the unit without a filter, he was not going to cut in a filter slot for free. I asked how much it would be. He never answered but continued to tell me how there was no way he could have done it at install and that he wasn't doing it for free. I again asked how much it would be. He then just told me I'd have to find someone else to do the work and hung up on me! I never was angry and i never told him i wouldn't pay for the work. I asked 2 or 3 times what the cost would be as it's a brand new system and i can't run it without the filter. He clearly was caught in the fact he did a shoddy install job, didn't correctly install an area for a filter, and has no ability to even corrrect his mistake when a customer is willing to pay something for the work to be done! Horrible customer service and even worse mechanical sense to have not put in a basic component of a furnace!
