As they do with everyone else I'm sure AMR will vet a long paragraph full of justification and excuses for their bad customer support and business practices. I saw a video of theirs on YouTube about coyote swapping a fox chassis and reached out with some questions. One of them was what headers would fit my project. They said they had a set and after me asking questions about fitment they said they'd work. I paid $799 for them and they arrived about a week later. They sat for a couple weeks because I had an issue with the motor and trans, but when I put them on they didn't fit. I contacted them and they said I had to contact the manufacturer. I did and was told I had to contact AMR because they sold them. A lot of details aside they originally refused to to accept the return, but after getting the manufacturer involved AMR offered to accept them back at my shipping expense and restocking fees. All and all I would lose hundreds of dollars to return them so I chose not to. When AMR replies with their excuses and justifications for selling me parts that won't work, I have all of the emails and conversations saved. Just bad business, not only that they sold me the wrong parts, but then treat me poorly when trying to get them to do the right thing. And I did offer to pay the return shipping. EDITING per their excuses below. They sent me a picture on FB messenger of the headers (after telling me they'd fit) and then when I asked how to buy them they gave me a link to go to to purchase them. I clicked on the link and bought them. YOU TOLD ME THEY WOULD FIT, WHY WOULD I LOOK ANY FURTHER? I would be more understanding about the 30 day policy other than despite the time, AMR sold me parts that dont fit and won't do anything to fix it. And your last email to me said "don't tell me how to run my business" when I was pleading for you to do the right thing. I consider that to be rude.Then blocked me on other social media.

Mike messaged AMR asking about coyote swap headers and if we thought the BBK headers would work in his car. We informed him we had used the BBK headers in the video and on other cars with great results. (Video car is a 1989 Foxbody with a T56 Manual Transmission) No transmission use was discussed, which if AMR is at fault, it is simply that we did not ask what transmission was being used. We apologize for not asking for more details about your build. A sales rep sent a link for Mike to look at for BBK Coyote Swap headers which are our most popular coyote swap header. Mike clicked the link and purchased the item off the website on Aug 22nd, 2023. Unbeknownst to the sales rep mike is trying to use a 6R80 Transmission with his swap. The BBK Swap headers description states "VEHICLE FITMENT:1979-2004 Mustang Chassis with 2011+ 5.0L Coyote Engine SwapWill NOT Fit Automatics - Designed to work on Manual Transmissions ONLY"Mike either did not read this or thought it would still fit his car.AMR has a 30 Day Return Policy. 30 Days after the item has been delivered items are no longer eligible for return. The headers were ordered Aug 22nd and delivered Aug 28th. We heard nothing from Mike until Oct 16th, 2023.Mike test fit the headers. They are not new anymore and cannot be sold as new. Even though we were past 30 days from delivery and the items had been installed AMR offered Mike to return the headers to us. Mike is upset because we have a restocking fee. Our restocking fee is 25%. This allows us to cover shipping we paid for to the customer, credit card fees, and the loss of value due to the item no longer being "new". It is a flat policy with no exceptions.At no point were you treated with disrespect or was anyone rude to you. We are small business. We are not amazon. We suggested that BBK refund you, but they were unwilling to refund you either. We have been doing this for many years now and we learned a long time ago to not bend to a customer demanding to get "ALL MY MONEY BACK". We wish you luck with your build. - Team AMR

We are sorry you were not able to understand the instructions that were sent to you. You spoke directly to the tuners, to sales staff, and to customer service each who did their best to guide you through the process. We have a very explicit set of directions and videos to follow that guide you through the process of how to load a tune and perform datalogs. These videos are made so that our staff doesn't have to walk you through each step as its not always the easiest to instruct over the phone or in a chat. The videos work amazing for this as long as they are watched and followed. The same goes for the written instructions that are sent. If the instructions are followed then there are few if any issues. The trouble comes when the customer is instructed to do something and they do it a different way, then the staff will of course refer you back to the instructional videos so you can follow along and perform the steps correctly.

Ive been working with Wes for the past couple weeks getting this thing tuned and he has been nothing but amazing. Hes been extremely fast responding to my datalogs and sending out new tunes. Also is extremely thorough when explaining things that I have questions about.
