        Taste nothing like a beignet. It is very doughy on the inside like a pretzel and crunchy on the outside. It is so crunchy that when they are fried, the oil cannot penetrate the dough on the inside and since the oil cannot get inside then the powder sugar cannot seep into the dough. They dont need to reinvent the beignet. They just need to make a good beignet which they dont do. If youre looking for something thats remotely like New Orleans has, you will not find it here.

        Cheeseburger on a savory beignet.. why didn't I think of this?! Got them to go and wasn't going to post until I could get a good picture but these are just so good I had to share. Of course, the traditional beignets are delicious, too! Beignets All Day is a "have-to" in Webster!
