        My students and I stayed here for a state student council convention. The beds are surprisingly soft, the food, surprisingly good, and the service was unmatched. Jeremy and Christie (husband wife team) especially went above and beyond and making sure every table was wiped for hundreds of teenagers during the continental breakfast and the biscuits and waffle mix never ran out. It was superb! Also, there was a video game room with free original NES games for anyone to play. Not to mention, the rates were considerably lower than other hotels in the hotel list for Joplin.
