Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Town and Country

We dined at Coopers Hawk on Saturday, March 30th and before I begin this review I would like to say we had dined at the restaurant on a prior occasion and it was amazing, but this visit was horribly different. We had reservations at 6:30 and we were sat on time, which ended up being the best part of the evening. The entire experience totaled two hours and was just painful. We were there with our family to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday, so I had made reservations several weeks in advance. So, it was a bit discouraging when we were sat at a table that was basically thrown together in the middle of the main walkway through the dining room. My son and daughter had to continuously move their chairs for people to get by. We then were greeted by a waitress with a horrible attitude and obviously wanted no part of social interaction with her customers. After what seemed forever, she returned with our drinks and to take our orders again with her oh so cheerful demeanor. We waited an hour for our food with no communication from anyone on why it was taking so long. When the food finally arrived half of it was cold, but I dare not complain. Between eating the food and paying our bill we waited yet another hour. To top off our splendid evening, as we were finally getting ready to leave, in walks a large party that included a woman holding her toy poodle in her arms through the restaurant. Now let me be clear, Im a supporter of emotional support animals, but this was just insane. Now, before I wrote this review I did give the restaurant a chance to respond to an email I sent through their website that same evening. Their site stated that I would receive a response within a timely manner and I believe a week is more than enough time, but I still have received no response. I would think after spending the amount of money that we spent in their establishment that evening and the horrible experience we had, we would at least receive some kind of response. You need to do better, Coopers Hawk!!

Great find!!! Didnt expect something like this in the area. Well curated food and wine list, fresh unusual and well designed. And very approachable price range. Well done!! Dietary restrictions: GREAT Gluten Free menu. Extensive AND creative
