We were excited to use a local internet service. Wrong. City Utilities has sold the service to BrightSpeed. The service is horrible and cuts in and out all the time, which causes major issues when you work from home. When you call to try to speak to someone in customer service about billing or other issues you are passed around from place to place since Brightspeed is part of a holding company that owns multiple internet providers like Centurylink. It is nearly impossible to get to the right person. And the cable that they laid in our yard for our service has been lying on top of our yard not buried for months now making it difficult to mow our yard. So much for good local service. We will be switching back to our old provider.

Same as other people. Installer didnt show, call or anything. Called 3 times to hear them say its not in my area, even though my neighbor is connected from a box buried in my yard. Asked for a refund and will be keeping service I have. Maybe Ill try again when they get there act together.

Installer failed to show. Called company, Oh, sorry the computer cancelled your appointment, try again. No thanks, Ill spent my money with a different internet provider.
