I was in Springfield, MO on March 8th. It was a Friday. Our Stations of the Cross in my parish was @ 5:30pm and I knew I would not make it back in time for it. I called around and the 3rd parish I found had a 2:30pm Stations of the Cross and I was so happy. There was a large number of people inside and I was so impressed and happy. But, to my dismay, I could not find the Blessed Sacrament. I looked all over and around the inside of the church and I could not locate the Tabernacle. The Stations of the Cross started and I was so touched with the prayers and the song after each station. And, I kept looking for the Tabernacle. I was so sad I was crying all the way through the Stations of the Cross. I felt so embarrassed because no matter how much I blewmy nose, I just couldnt stop crying (quietly, of course), but my frequent sniffing my my nose gave me away. Finally, the Stations of the Cross was over. I waited till almost everybody has left the church. I asked one of the last ladies leaving the church where the Tabernacle was. It was outside the church in a small room to the left of the entrance/exit of the church. I am so so sad. I just do NOT understand why this is so in this church. The Tabernacle should be and must be inside the church. The Blessed Sacrament/Holy Eucharist is the crux of our Catholic Faith. It should be in a central location inside the church. Maybe, I am too old-fashioned, or, too conservative? I dont think so. I think it is the right thing to do!

Very very welcoming Catholic Church. Spacious and bright inside with lots of seating and slight stadium elevation so everyone has a good view. The cry room is a welcome sight as many churches have done away with them. The Knights of Columbus chapter here is very active but in need of more participation from the 20 to 50 year old parishioners. A lot of the heavy lifting is done by 60, 70  and 80-year-old men & the next generations need to step up and attend the meetings and volunteer more. This is evident by just observing who shows up for events and volunteers. The Harvest Home Festival is the highlight of the year and not just for the people that attend the church, but for the community as a whole. The church has many events that benefit the community.

Thank you for visiting St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and for sharing your feedback with us. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. The custom of reserving the Blessed Sacrament in a special place of honor, such as our Reservation Chapel, has been a tradition in the Catholic Church since the 12th and 13th centuries. Our Reservation Chapel provides a serene and contemplative atmosphere, conducive to quiet prayer and reflection. It is easily accessible from the Sanctuary and visible through the beautiful Sanctuary Stained Glass Window in our Worship Space. We regret that you were unaware of the Tabernacle's location during your visit. We strive to ensure that all members of our parish community and visitors feel welcome and informed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. To provide further insight into the design and layout of our parish, we invite you to take an online tour, which explains the thought process behind our architecture and sacred spaces. We hope this will enhance your understanding and appreciation of our church.https://youtu.be/lvZmccH393QOnce again, thank you for your feedback, and we look forward to the opportunity to make your next experience at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church more enjoyable.Blessings,St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church
