Pere Marquette Park

The park has a playground and a little pond, and a walking path completely out in the open with no shade. It is not very pretty, and gives the impression that the city doesn't care to make it so since it's in an economically depressed area. There are restrooms near the playground that are ridiculous. There is one toilet in the room and no lock on the door, so anyone could just walk in and see whoever it is that's using it.

Beautiful rolling hills and nice grassy areas for a nice picnic. Pavilions and benches along with playground equipment and soccer fields and tennis courts. Also a pond to fish in and a beautiful area to sit and watch the trains and the birds. Nice paved walking path through and disc golf too. Playground: Not much playground equipment but there are swings and slides and a few other things. Dog-friendliness: It is a dog friendly park. Just please clean up when they are done. Picnic area: Several picnic tables and a large pavilion that can be rented, as well as lots of benches and grassy areas in the sun or under the trees to have a nice relaxing picnic with the family or that significant other.
