Farmers Co-op/Old Town Country Store

Prices are a bit expensive which I don't mind because it is helping local farmers. But they could be a little more friendly - one particular associate was not friendly, not welcoming, not conversive - in fact I felt like I was bothering him and he wanted to be any place but there. Felt like leaving but wanted to patronize them. Sorry - won't be back.

Wow!!! $13 to fill up a 20 pound propane tank. They haven't raised their price for propane/gas in over a year! What an amazing place. Everyone who works here is super helpful. And when you are done shopping, you can grab food or drinks in Old Town St Peters!

Ill never go back there again! I went into the store this morning for some birdseed, took the seed to the counter and ask Jacob which register he wanted me at. He pointed to one and mumbled something. He rang up the purchase and I handed him my credit card to pay. After running the card, Jacob tossed my card on the counter in front of me, not even handing it to me! THAT put me on the offensive but, I let it go. Next, Jacob printed my invoice, laid it on the counter then tossed a pen on the counter in front of me to use! I then proceeded to tell him that he had to be THE most unfriendly person Ive dealt with in a LONG time! I know that the loss of my business wont hurt their bottom line but, Ill NEVER set foot in that store again and Ill be SURE to tell all my friends!
