They squeezed me into the schedule the week of Thanksgiving with no notice. Left the house sparkling clean. They were amazing.

I thought I had finally found a cleaning service that would clean thoroughly, not just surface cleaning and things like baseboards, walls, etc.  I notified Sarah over a month that we were remodeling our kitchen and when it was done we would need a more than usual deep clean.  My daughter was graduating high school and we had family guests.  I made it clear we were on a tight timeline, and when the time came Sarah offered me an hour here, an hour, that kind of thing.  I was floored.  The result was a huge embarrassment to me and my family, and they were doing grunt work.  Things were lost and it was mayhem.   I wouldn't be so angry if I hadn't given Sarah ample notice that I would need at least a day.  So even though I thought they did superior cleaning, because of this debacle I wouldn't hire them again.  It's really a shame because I loved the quality of the cleaning.

I have to lower my rating. HCCA has canceled their scheduled cleaning several times at the last minute or the day before. We are scheduled for every two weeks. The cancellations are always due to being short staffed, whether because of staff illness, family emergency, or some other reason. I make a special effort to ensure that the house is picked up so the cleaners' job is easy. When I've done that, ans then they cancel, it's even more frustrating. Yes, the house is neater, but we have this service because my health prevents me from doing all these chores. When the cleaners don't come as scheduled, it's a big disappointment and caused extra work for my family. Maybe all companies are having this problem. I'm thinking about finding a different option.
