I regret visiting this business for 3 reasons: male chauvinism displayed by the owner, the high opportunity cost that negatively hurt my workday, and lack of integrity. I was treated as a second class citizen, sacrificed earnings to travel there and a significant part of my work day was lost, and lastly, the owner I was sent to based on an agreement/discussion the day before someone had with him on my behalf did not honor a single part of that conversation. In fact, he swiftly denied every detail of the conversation, quickly turned me away and literally refused to even submit an application for financing. This was my first time in life working this hard to ENCOURAGE a Salesman/Dealer to try and make a sale (to me).. However, Im thankful for the rejection because the whole experience showed me the kind of businessman I was interacting with- one who is slightly temperamental, ok with marginalizing a population based on class/status/etc, and overall one who is slightly lazy with hazy business ethics. This is someone I will always decline to have a business transaction with if given the benefit of knowing these distasteful details beforehand.
