St. Louis Race Gear

I happened to be visiting our daughter in St. Louis and I needed to get a helmet for some casual lapping days back in Seattle. I was lucky enough to come upon St. Louis Race Gear that is owned and operated by Frank Palazzo. He was kind enough to give a neophyte like myself a quick tutorial on helmets, since I knew nothing, and then he gave me the pro's and con's of the helmets he had in stock. His passion for the sport was apparent and he also provided me with some insight for "track-days". I was able to avoid the hassle of "shopping online" and I walked out of his shop with a well fitting helmet AND I got a close-up look at his Dodge Viper GTS race car. St. Louis is lucky to have such a resource.

Frank Palazzo was patient with us, giving us no-nonsense information and talking with us about exactly what we needed. He even personally put us in contact with a terrific group of track-gurus. Got our great gear for a very reasonable price. Absolutely recommend.

Great selection and awesome service. Ive bought from them a couple times and have sent several people their way. My first visit I knew what I needed to satisfy the tracks requirements but I had no clue what I was looking for. Frank walked me thru everything and took the time to explain the difference in the safety ratings and helped my pick out what worked best for my needs.

One of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have ever had. Frank was super nice, helpful, and patient while I made sure I got the right size karting gloves. Not to mention this is the only place I could find in St. Louis that even sells karting gloves! Will happily come back when I need more equipment and would love to see more people taking advantage of this awesome store! Nothing but good things to say about this place, although this interaction may have been simple Franks kindness and likeness truly made my day.

Some things you just dont want to order online. I didnt know the size of gloves I needed. I really appreciate them having this business in town. This isnt their main business, it sounds like they do it to serve the community in town. Much appreciated.
