As a business woman myself, I hate to even do this but due to the circumstances i have no other choice. I booked a shoot with Rob in Sept 2023 in which i enjoyed so much i booked for another shoot (even after slight delays on photos the first round) he came up with an idea to put together a shoot for businesses HEADSHOTS AND CHLL on Oct 15 2023 and at this shoot we would receive headshots & had the opportunity to network with other business owners (with 4 of my business friends attending this event as well) the shoot came with one free edit and since my pictures were just okay this time i just wanted the one free headshot. we are told edits take 7-10 business days. December comes around, and one of my business friends asked have i received or heard anything back about edits bc she hadnt. (in which i did not either). i waited until after the holidays and texted him Jan 12.. emailed him Jan 21.. and IG messaged him Jan 26, all with no response until Jan 26 asking whats my email.. after giving it to him my message was left unread.. i messaged him AGAIN on Feb 2 asking when would it be complete, message left unread.. i contacted another one of my business friends who attended the event to see if she got her edits back and she said she had to hound him for her edits and requested a refund on Cash App that finally got his attention and thst she wont us him again smh .. i messaged him AGAIN Feb 15 (now 4 months since this shoot/event!!) he finally responds sending me pics and emails from the first session?? as if he never got my retouch form from the second one, but i had proof that i sent one & i provided it.. he leaves me unread AGAIN! i message him Feb 22 showing him the picture i just want edited.. he then responds Hey do you know the file number of that photo I definitely remember attaching those now.. i sent the file number.. message left unread again :(. its unfortunate i had to contact another photographer today to get my photo edited.. with such a huge delay this should have been made PRIORITY & i shouldnt have had to reach out so many times for one edit. .. what upsets me in this situation is throughout all of this he is always active online & frequently posting. even seen uploading from other sessions (of his choice) its not ok to pick and choose bc our dollar & time means just as much anyone elses.. we were also told that he had 30 people shots to do from that event.. but then started promoting for Valentines day like craaazy. my advice is dont bite off more than you can chew.. if you have unfinished sessions why even start new ones? sounds like greed .. could have used that time to catch up on previous shoots.. in all no empathy or edit recieved :( he is GREAT at what he does love his work .. but this unfortunately happens to be the downfall in ALOT of very talented people in this city. lets normalize doing good business all around the board this is just a recap of my last experience.
